The Krishna Consciousness Society in Tashkent is part of the international spiritual movement International Society for Krishna Consciousness, founded in 1966 by A. C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada.
Our mission is to share the timeless spiritual wisdom of the Vedic scriptures, such as the Bhagavad-gita and the Srimad-Bhagavatam, and to help people find inner peace, balance, and awareness in their daily lives.
Our community brings together people of all ages and backgrounds who seek spiritual growth, self-understanding, and a life guided by eternal values—kindness, compassion, honesty, and service to others.
In our society, we offer:
- Spiritual lectures and discussions on Bhakti Yoga philosophy
- Collective chanting of the holy names (kirtan)
- Festivals and celebrations of Vedic culture
- Distribution of sanctified food (prasad)
- Personal meetings and guidance from experienced practitioners
The practice of Krishna consciousness is based on Bhakti Yoga—the path of love and devotion to God. Central to this practice is the repetition of the maha-mantra:
Hare Krishna, Hare Krishna,
Krishna Krishna, Hare Hare,
Hare Rama, Hare Rama,
Rama Rama, Hare Hare.
We aim to create an open and friendly space where anyone can ask questions, receive support, and take steps on their spiritual journey.
We look forward to meeting you in person!
